Can I see a board map before I decide?: Yes. The example page shows a first map for a fictional company, with every claim dated and every first move tied to an approver. It is an illustration, not a client’s map.
How many Consult blocks does a strategy take?: It depends on how many departments the map covers and how quickly answers come in. One block can work toward a first map of one or two departments. We agree the scope before the hours start and say plainly if more are needed.
Why not let a vendor plan it for us?: A vendor plans around its own product. The map starts from your work and your evidence, and it can recommend buying nothing. If a platform fits, the map shows where and how you would measure it.
What if the board meets next week?: A block can still help you present the position honestly: what runs today, what is known, and what you will find out next. We will not invent results to fill the gap.

What should an AI strategy include?: On our map: who decides, the outcome they want, what is true today, the hard limits, what you can change, what drives the result, how you will know it worked, and when you must decide. Then the first moves, each with a measure, and a named person approves anything you cannot undo.
What do I show the board?: The map itself. It shows the company in one view, with a source and a date on every claim about what AI does in it. It also shows the first moves, how each will be measured, and what would change the plan.
We already run AI pilots. Do we start over?: No. The pilots you already run go on the map. What already works stays on the map. What nobody can measure stays an open question.

How is this different from CAIO of One?: CAIO of One is for new and de facto Chief AI Officers without a team, in title or in fact. This site is for the executive asked for the strategy before there is an AI office or an AI team. Both are Utlyze sites, with the same method and the same prices.
Is this legal or compliance advice?: No. If a law applies to you, its dates go on the map as limits. For example, the EU AI Act became applicable on August 2, 2026, with some exceptions. Legal, security and employment calls stay with you and your advisers. We make no promise of compliance.
